this was my craft today. jsk was a newer plane with smoother power. recognizing power lines and approach heights made for more learnings. I love flying.
I'm getting better at approaches, I'm now at the point where my instructor doesnt say much until afterwards...awesome.
The circuit might bore some pilots but I love just taking off and landing. radio calls. just fun...where did that .9 hour go? lol.
So, in the last 3 lessons, I've only been doing Exercises 16-18; essentially touch and go's. This is completed in the circuit (a rectangular path lined up with runway over the aerodrome) and allows you to land and take off right away.
The first 2 sessions were good, in my mind. Today we had a small cross wind from the west. The first attempt was an overshoot because
I was too high - subsequently, I did land but we ended coming to a full stop twice because the landings weren't all that good.
It was still awesome. Let's hope it doesn't snow tomorrow :)
