Tristan would put the airplane into all kinds of nose-up and nose-down unusual attitudes, and I would then do recoveries. It was a VERY turbulent day up there today - I did numerous 180 degree turns, all kinds of elevation changes as well as a TON of corrections (due to wind). Definitely not for the weak-stomach people. So I'm "in the hood" as its referred to, and literally bumping right off my seat constantly, correcting the airplane's pitch and roll. SO FUN - probably one of more fun days I've had.
Seriously, I never thought it would be so fun to fly. I also can't believe how comfortable I feel as a pilot in the 172 - such an easy aircraft to control. I feel my first solo flight might be coming soon.
(PS. no, the picture is NOT me. That dude is old...LOL.)
