When my flying lessons are once every 2 weeks or so, I tend to get a little rusty, however, I seem to have my flying knowledge down - its the actual practice of flying (take-offs and landings) that always need work. I suspect that will never stop.
The runway was super icy and full of snow which made it hard to see. This was more of a distraction than a hazard. The best part of flying on cold, winter days is the thick air mass about. Summer lift and sink rates won't be as much fun.
Ground school is a little frustrating - and a tad boring. Hopefully my next section (which is navigation) is much more exciting and challenging. I like math.
PS. I did receive my Student Pilot Permit - which allows me to fly alone - but its up to my instructors to sign off on that first. I think my first solo is coming soon - but I'm in no rush if they don't feel I'm ready - but I feel ready.
