We did power off, power on, and flap stalls today. Of course, i needed to add a little excitement...again. Didn't do the spin - i have that under control. The key element of recovery from a stall is to SLIGHTLY push control forward - except if you push too much, you begin a dive.
Well, i'm no submarine captain, so in the air that's a little more scary and the last time I plan to dive a plane. Anyway, that only happened the first time and all subsequent recoveries were clean. I'm glad to know this stuff, but its a lot of adrenalin. Couldn't quite get my landing today but that hasn't been officially started yet. We are working on it.
Thanks for the lesson Tristan - and thank goodness for "dual instruction".
